Free play and advertising

FidgetStation separates play, purchases, rewards, and advertising. This page explains the rules an eligible free account can expect before ads are enabled on the service.

What a free account includes

A free account can open eligible games, save progress and collection activity, and use the account tools described on the public guides. Free access is not presented as a cash-earning scheme, and no player is required to engage with an advert to keep an account or use the public information pages.

Ads appear only at natural breaks

Eligible free play may request a contextual advert after a player ends or leaves a game. Ads are not placed over active controls, inside a pop or spin interaction, on sign-in and registration forms, or on payment and account-management screens. A break request is tied to a player action rather than an automatic timer.

A first-break delay and frequency limit apply

The ad controller waits before the first eligible break and enforces a minimum interval between later requests. These limits are designed to prevent repeated prompts from overwhelming the game itself. If an ad provider is unavailable, the player continues without being trapped on a dead-end screen.

Owned games and Unlimited are ad-free

An individually purchased game is excluded from advertising for the account that owns it. An active FidgetStation Unlimited subscription excludes advertising across the eligible library. The server supplies those entitlements and the client fails closed when it cannot verify them.

No rewards for adverts or clicks

FidgetStation does not award Spark, stickers, scores, lives, access, physical products, or any other benefit for viewing or clicking an advert. Advertiser engagement is never a condition of play. That separation is tested in the application code and reflected in the Spark guide.

Privacy-first defaults

Advertising and analytics consent default to restricted settings. FidgetStation does not use precise location for advertising. Teen accounts receive high-privacy treatment, and the service is designed for contextual rather than behavioural advertising where ads are permitted.

Public and account screens stay ad-free

The landing page, guides, privacy information, login, registration, billing, support, and account deletion flows are publisher or service content rather than ad inventory. Gameplay advertising remains disabled until Google approves the site and the production switch is deliberately enabled.

Report a poor ad experience

If an advert ever covers controls, appears at the wrong moment, repeats too often, or seems inappropriate, the signed-in Help area provides a feedback route. Include the game, device, approximate time, and what happened; never click a questionable advert in order to identify it.
